Referral bonus explained
Referral information, qualification details and the SC-Links referral card for new players creating an RSI account.
How the referral works
A Star Citizen referral code is entered when a new RSI account is created. If you use a referral code during account creation, the new account will receive the standard referral starting bonus when the referral qualifies.
The SC-Links referral code is handled by the referral plugin, so the code below is not typed as static page text: STAR-7L3M-ZQTK.
New player bonus
Receive an in game bonus when using a referral.
Why use it: Accounts created with a referral code receive 50,000 UEC to help start their time in the verse.
Qualification rule
There is a minimum pledge of $40.00 to receive the referral reward(s).
Why use it: If you’re making an account for Free Fly then obtain a game package of at least $40.00 USD from the pledge store at a later date then the referral will still count.
Event bonuses
Extra event rewards.
Why use it: During some promotions, RSI may add limited-time referral rewards. These change by event, so always check the official event page. You must have used a referral code when creating your account, then purchase an eligible game package during the event time period to receive these extra bonuses.
