Star Citizen add friend tool
Met someone you want to add later? Enter their Star Citizen handle, copy it cleanly, then open RSI Spectrum Friends to send the request from your own RSI account.
Add players you meet in Star Citizen when they’re difficult to find through the in-game contacts list. If you know their Star Citizen handle, enter it here to copy the handle and open Spectrum, where you can quickly find them and send a friend request.
You can also use the tool with any Star Citizen handle shared with you outside the game, whether through Discord, an organisation, a community, a forum or elsewhere.
A Star Citizen handle is the player name shown in-game and on Spectrum.
How to use it
- Enter the player’s full Star Citizen handle and click Add Friend.
- Copies the handle and opens the RSI Spectrum Friends page.
- Click Add friend and paste the handle there.
- Check the Spectrum result is the correct player, then send the request.
Before sending a request
Check the spelling before you send anything. Some players use very similar names, so make sure the Spectrum result matches the person you meant to add.
Privacy and RSI account access
SC-Links does not search Spectrum, sign in to RSI, read RSI cookies or send friend requests automatically. The request is completed by you on the official RSI Spectrum website.
Common questions
Can SC-Links add the friend for me?
No. It helps you move the handle to Spectrum quickly. You still choose the correct player and send the request yourself.
Does SC-Links store the handle?
No. The handle is copied locally in your browser and is not submitted to SC-Links.
